The Entire Book of Me Series Now Available

I discovered this morning that I am not currently offering a deal that I have offered for years.  Ummm...huh?

I mean, for years, I have sold all three copies of my Book of Me series at one discounted price. But when I popped over to The Book of Me shop this morning, I realized I hadn't created that sales page when I moved my shop from OneScrappySite to Typepad.  OY!

So I have now created a sales page for the three-book combo deal: The Angie Pedersen Special - The Entire Book of Me series

I think the combo is aptly named - sounds rather egotistical, I know, but what better name for something that encourages you to be a little self-centered once in a while?  :)

Book of Me Challenge: Alphabet Shoot

I found another ongoing Book of Me/All About Me challenge on a community message board: Alphabet Shoot at Scrapbook Graphics.

It's hosted by Stephanie O'Neill, and has been going since the beginning of the year.  The challenge description encourages participants to "join Stephanie as she gives you alphabetical photo prompts that will help you get some layouts done about YOU!"  Every other week, Stephanie posts a prompt, based on a letter of the alphabet.  They are currently on "M" - "M is for Me".

Scrapbook Graphics has a gallery dedicated to the layouts inspired by the Alphabet Shoot challenge - go there and let yourself be inspired!

Go ahead...scrap YOUR stories!

Book of Me Ideas - Two New-to-Me Blogs

Via Lisa Day's blog, a couple of links to Book of Me/All About Me scrapbook challenge blogs:

Dig Deeper's goal is to help you "document your life and your story." They offer monthly mini book kits with a monthly theme, instruction and inspiration from the DD owners and a monthly guest designer.  But it isn't necessary to purchase a kit to participate every month. They offer a challenge blog as well, where you can use your own stash and just use their theme and journaling prompts to get you creating.  Participants are encouraged to upload completed projects to their Flickr group.

The This Is Me Journal blog posts challenges/prompts every Monday and Thursday - a very ambitious schedule, if you ask me!  Their goal is to help participants to "think outside the box when it comes to journalling about YOURSELF {yes, that's right- this is all about you, not the kids or the hubby or the dog, just you!} so that in 10 years you can look back and remember the place you are at NOW in your life."  You can check out their Flickr group for projects inspired by past prompts.

New AAM Challenge blog: So Tell Me Your Story....

A heads up on a new Book of Me/All About Me challenge blog: So Tell Me Your Story....

Have you ever picked up a photo of someone in your family from generations ago and wondered about them. What their story was? Who the person was behind the smile? What they liked and the life they lead? Yet no one can tell you tell you anything about them.

Do you want to be the person in the photos that no one knows anything about? Do you want to be the person who scrapped albums yet no one knows anything about the person who created the scrapbooks?

Ask yourself, why don’t I scrap more of me?

Is it time related? Set yourself some time to do one layout a month.

You don't have to fill up a 12x12. You can do a 6x6 AAM. I do a 8X8 and I love it.

We all have stories... So how can you tell your story?

This when I come in and get you to take part in AAM challenges.

I will be posting two BOM challenges per month and you can choose to one or both. You dont have to have photos but lets start telling our story. It will be posted on the 1st and the 15th of each month.

A RAK will be given once a month :)

Mamma Mia! Scrap-a Me-a Crop Party

Check out this completely FABULOUS idea for a crop party, hosted by a local scrapbooking store in San Diego: Scrapbook Your Life! : Mamma Mia! Scrap-a Me-a!!.

In honor of opening night of the movie version of ABBA's musical, Mamma Mia!, scrapbooking store Scrapbook Your Life is hosting a crop, including a two-hour Book of Me project (they're even going to do mini-photo shoots and print the photos right in the store!) 

Following a quick pizza dinner, everyone is going to troop out to see the opening night showing of the movie.  And not in any ordinary fashion - they're encouraging everyone to "dress for the movie! Hippy, ABBA, leis, flip-flops, long skirts, flowers-in-your hair, floppy brimmed hats...oh! this is going to be so much fun!"

Can I just say how jealous I am??  If this store was even two hours away - which it totally isn't - I would completely be there.  I am obviously a big fan of Book of Me projects (grin), and a big fan of ABBA and this musical!  I've already seen it twice, and am really looking forward to the movie.

So if you're in the San Diego area, please go to this event for me and report back, ok?  It sounds like a blast.  Kudos to the gals at Scrapbook Your Life for creating what sounds like an awesome event.
