Avery Dennison Releases New Line of Crafting and Scrapbooking Products

BREA, CA - Avery Dennison Office Products Company has announced that it is launching a new line of printable crafting and scrapbooking products that will help consumers create unique and personalized scrapbook pages, embellishments and craft projects using their computers and ink jet printers.  The new products will be available in the fourth quarter of 2006.

The product line will enable consumers to design and decorate 12” borders, tags, titles, captions and journal entries with personal quotes, favorite designs, matching colors, and even photos.

Products will come in different sizes, die-cut shapes and finishes and will be acid-free.  Additionally, the new sticker scrapbooking products will also be lignin free.   In an effort to close the digital divide, each of the new products will have a PC and Mac compatible CD that includes pre-designed templates, digital designs, elements, and clip art.

In addition to the new scrapbook products, Avery Dennison will also launch its new Paper Poster Kits in the fall of 2006.  The new kits will make it easy to create an 18" x 24" poster on the computer.  Using a simple three-step process, consumers will easily be able to create professional-looking signs with the software that comes with the kit. Utilizing its expertise in adhesives, Avery Dennison has developed unique print-to-the-edge, repositionable adhesive sign sheets that align easily and don’t require cutting or pasting.  The result is a virtually seamless look once the sign is assembled. The poster kits are great for making signs for special occasions, mementos after an event or school projects.

The new products available this fall will include:

• White and Clear Sticker Paper: Full sheets of acid-free and lignin-free sticker paper that allow for flexibility in creating and cutting stickers of any size or shape without the constraints of pre-die cut shapes.
• Border Sticker Paper: Die-cut acid-free and lignin-free sticker sheets with decorative edges designed to print 12” borders to fit 12”x12” scrapbook pages.
• Printable Tags: Die-cut 2”x3.5” acid-free tags – great for accents, journaling and personal quotes.  Versatile products perfect for use with scrapbooks, gift boxes, bags and more.
• Journaling Sticker Paper: Acid and lignin-free die-cut sticker sheets of various shapes to use to create titles, captions and journal entries.
• Paper Poster Kit: Kit includes two 18”x24” paper posters with individual 8½” x11” sheets that are repositionable to create a seamless image.

The MSRP on all scrapbooking paper products is $6.22, and the Paper Poster Kit will have an MSRP of $13.75.
