To paraphrase Meg Ryan's famous line from "Top Gun", I am 100%, prime-time in love with Z Becky Brown purses. I saw them at CHA Winter in February, and was blown away by all the potential. With all the personalization possibilities (say that five times fast!), my Book-of-Me mind immediately started clicking. It could be like a portable Book of Me! With an ever-changing "landscape"! I posted a newsbyte about the new line back in February on OSS.
ZBB was kind enough to send me one of the first purses off the production line, and I tell you, I am in LOVE! It is SO EASY to personalize, and looks FABULOUS! It comes with a template, so you know just what size to make your inserts. Cut your background to size, and start creating! The purse itself is so sturdy -- thick acrylic walls, and fun flip-top with a study ball clasp.
I put together my first set of inserts very quickly just this morning -- using Basic Grey papers, and stamps from Wendi Speciale and LeaveMemories.com. I very easily could have "foofed it up" more, but I like the clean look of it. Fortunately I have a date with my husband tonight, so I get to take out my new purse and show it off. (neener)
The next set of inserts I'm thinking of making will incorporate a photo collage I made in college. I silhouetted most of the photos I took my sophomore year, then collaged them onto a piece of posterboard. Then I (groan with me, here) put clear Contact Paper over the whole thing. No retreiving those photos now! BUT.... I plan to scan segments of the poster, reduce and print, so I can use the printouts as inserts in my purse. How fun would the resulting purse be to take to a reunion with college friends?? I'll post photos when that set of inserts is done.
