Photoshop Elements and VBT Banner
I love love LOVE working with brushes in Photoshop Elements (PSE)! I never cease to be amazed at the effects you can produce with brushes (which actually work more like "stamps", really. Just point, click, and there's the image. LOVE it!)
I made the banner graphic for my blog (above) in PSE, using several different brushes: jenni013_angelhair, jenni038_wooshno4, spaceraven_grungeletters, and outlineswirlies_irmes (a brush done by a 13yo!!). Fonts are PC Stone Script and Bluecake.
Yesterday and today I spent working in Photoshop Elements (PSE) on a banner graphic for my Virtual Book Tour.

Brushes used are outlineswirlies_irmes and Neko_Sama_Inc_Swirls_1. I used the color dropper tool to pick colors out of the book cover for The Book of Us. ;) Fonts are Century Gothic, Mary Helen, and Bermuda Squiggle.
I used a little program called Microsoft GifAnimator to animate the graphics. This program makes it so easy to animate several graphics together. You create each separate graphic as a GIF file, insert them in order in the program, define how many seconds between each image, then click the play button. Really easy!
Feel free to grab the VBT banner above (right-click, Save As... to your hard drive) if you want to "share the love" and support my book tour. ;) You can link it to http://www.scrapyourstories.com/virtualbooktour.html or to any site of your choosing on the book tour.
Now I need to create a smaller block graphic, too.
Technorati:

I hope you don't mind but I shrunk your banner and put it on my blog. I am just learing Photoshop Elements myself so I am enjoying the brush links. Good luck on your tour.
